We are a strong believer in technology to run and improve processes based on insights. This is far more than just analyzing the millions of data points generated by processes each year. It is about putting those data points into relation to the processes and it’s results.

With our Enterprise Reasoning Platform, which builds on semantic web technologies, we are able to embed this data and make it drive processes. These capabilities are powered by SAP’s In Memory Database HANA, which is right now, the only technology which can provide these advanced capabilities in a scalable fashion. All this is delivered in SAP’s cloud, which brings the unique value proposition of easy deployment and continuous features to all our customers.

In contrast to other solutions in the market, we can deliver a unique experience for each customer, thanks to the capabilities of our Enterprise Reasoning Platform. Thus, customer specific processes, data points as well as the reasoning capabilities can be configured to deliver a fully customized end-to-end solution. Disruption is not an option. Therefore our technology stack is build for an easy integration with existing legacy back-end systems.

Enterprise Reasoning

Our Enterprise Reasoning Platform goes beyond traditional data models and analytic capabilities.

It builds on top of W3C standards developed in the area of Semantic Web and makes them enterprise ready. The platform helps to overcome data silos and connect the data points that run a company’s business. Each data point in the system is connected to all other data and can be analysed holistically to understand and improve business processes.

In Memory Analytics

Our Technology Platform leverages on SAP HANA®, a cutting edge In Memory Database Technology.

This is a key enabler for our Enterprise Reasoning Platform, which provides insights into business processes beyond anything that was technically possible with traditional database technologies. Backed by algorithms for Predictive Analytics our platform can truly make a difference in getting actionable insights and bring Big Data capabilities into an organisation.

Cloud Customization

Processes and data points within a certain company are connected in a unique fashion.

Our Enterprise Reasoning Platform and it’s unique way to store data enables customers to bring their own data easily into our applications and include those data points into calculations, access control and processes to make reliable decisions. The uniqueness of our Enterprise Reasoning Platform is that all this can be delivered in a standard cloud deployment and thus brings unprecedented extensibility to our customers.

Easy orchestration of heterogeneous systems is a key concept developed, that in the Semantic Web is called Linked Data.

Customers require end to end solutions across heterogeneous systems. Therefore, our provided standard integration mechanisms for a series of CRM and ERP solutions, which can be easily adapted to address customer specifics. Furthermore, we are working on standard approaches to connect to arbitrary systems following the ideas of Linked Data and the ‘Data First’ principle developed in the Big Data area.

Our Enterprise Reasoning Platforms leverages decades of technology and business research from the Big Data and Semantic Web area.

The key principles are flexible and schema agnostic data representation and discovery of unknown facts via logic inference and predictive algorithms. Application’s semantics are thus separated from the actual application code and can be easily altered and extended to address customer specific needs such as specific access or process control, running in a standardized cloud environment. Advanced rule languages and other inference algorithms can be leveraged to extract new knowledge on-top of the provided application semantics. The key advantages are an unprecedented flexibility, means to enable corporate-wide collaboration following company specific data and process models as well as the capability to derive unique insights through knowledge inference.

Flexibility was the key driver of the Semantic Web movement. We adopted those technologies to build an enterprise-ready platform that provides a unique flexibility for customizing its products.

The fundamental idea is to represent application entities in a kind of graph which describes the application’s semantics and relations among entities. Thus customer specific entities or attributes can be easily modelled and incorporated in processes or calculation models. Powerful rule languages are used to infer additional knowledge from those entities. Examples of those entities are product models, pricing models, organisational layouts or processes.

Rules that are built on-top of these models can control processes, handle access rights, support in decision making or trigger actions.

Collaboration is a key factor for success in an organisation.

However, in CRM, especially in quotation processes, a lot of confidential and mission critical information is handled. Thus controlling the process and providing a fine grained access control is of uttermost importance to enable collaboration among different units within a corporate.

Still many systems cannot handle the specific needs of corporates in a flexible way and therefore require to run certain process steps manually via email and documents.

Thanks to our Enterprise Reasoning Platform, our applications can easily represent those organisational requirements and incorporate them in an end-to-end workflow that fosters seamless collaboration within a company without the need for a manual process control.

Nowadays insights into the own processes became a key success criteria for corporates.

Analyzing historic data and making inferred knowledge available in the application is thus a key necessity. Our vision for insights goes beyond the ideas of Big Data analytics, such as customer segmentation or predictive customer lifetime value analytics.

Insights have to be embedded in processes to make efficiently the right decision in the right point in time. For example re-using previous configuration or price calculations in quotation processes can reduce the turn over time in sales processes tremendously. Another example are semantic search capabilities, that go truly beyond state-of-the-art.

  • Security and Global Availability
  • In-Memory Technology
  • On-Premise Integration
SAP stands for decades in running company’s most critical processes in a secure and reliable way. SAP also has a long history of delivering cloud solutions for CRM (SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer), Procurement (Ariba) or HCM (SuccessFactors) via its own data centers. We made a strategic decision to offer all of our applications via the SAP Cloud Platform. In this way we, together with SAP, can deliver secure and highly available applications. We also benefit from the near-zero-latency in-memory database SAP HANA®, running in SAP’s cloud environment, which makes it possible to provide unique features that could not be built with traditional database technologies. Furthermore, our customers benefit from the ease of integration with existing SAP solutions such as SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer or with existing on-premise landscapes including SAP CRM or SAP ERP.

Our solutions Cloud CPQ Express and Insight Selling Suite Manufacturing CRM are certified by SAP and built on SAP Cloud Platform. Cloud CPQ Express is available in the SAP App Center and in the Hybris Extend Marketplace.
