Sales Manager (APJ), Singapore


This is a field sales role and your primary task is to help identify, create and follow-up on leads in the APJ region. You will articulate our Manufacturing Sales Platform, which is a complete solution that blends sales management, sales simplification, sales optimization, engineering sales and sales portal within one intuitive solution for manufacturers in the era of Industry 4.0.

The candidate should ideally have some sales experience at a system integrator, with enterprise or manufacturing software background. He / She will be an essential part of the sales organization and a key member of the Go-to-Market (GTM) team.

You will be working closely with the assigned presales to communicate our overall value proposition to new prospects and partners. He / She will also help to build, expand and maintain professional relationships with our value-added resellers.



  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related industry knowledge
  • At least 7+ years work experience in the capacity of a sales / account manager for an enterprise software company or system integrator
  • Business-to business (B2B) sales experience with a hands-on approach
  • Highly motivated individual who has a habit of attaining or over-achieving sales targets
  • Ability to build rapport with different levels and deal with objection handling effectively
  • Applicants with Configure Price Quote (CPQ), SAP ECC / S4 HANA, Hybris, Cloud for Customer (C4C), Solution Sales Configuration (SSC) or any CRM (including SFDC, MS Dynamics etc…) and other ERP solutions sales experience is preferred
  • Previous exposure to customers in the manufacturing, industrial machinery, engineering, high-tech, automotive and medical equipment industries is highly favourable
  • Candidates with senior contacts in the above related industries is preferred
  • Ability to conduct cold calling and identify new contacts to create new business leads
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Must be able to present himself / herself in a highly professional manner
  • Basic understanding of a Quote-to-Cash process
  • Some IT hardware and software background with an understanding in the area of Cloud Computing, CRM and ERP is essential
  • Good business acumen and negotiation skills
  • Enjoys networking, analytical and creative thinker
  • Self-driven mentality and high energy level
  • Positive attitude with plenty of initiative
  • Pleasant personality and ability to work independently and as a team
  • High level of proficiency in English, Mandarin and / or another language
  • Some travelling in APJ will be required



  • Cultivate new customers in China
  • Create opportunities by identifying target businesses and evaluating their requirements
  • Maintain senior or CXO level communications with prospects
  • Establish industry contacts and develop close working relationships with prospects and partners
  • Upsell license and services to existing accounts by providing on-going customer support
  • Follow up on all inbound and outbound leads from demand generation team
  • Set up discovery calls, software demonstration and onsite meetings
  • Lead in preparation of all Request for Information (RFIs), Request for Proposal (RFPs) and Request for Quotation (RFQs) responses
  • Vertical market research and analysis
  • Collaborate with other regional sales, pre-sales and customer success teams
  • Participate in all the relevant sales meetings, conferences and workshops
  • Establish productive and strong working relationships with SAP as well as other industry groups
  • Expand business network with selected implementation partners
  • Communicate with the product development team on issues identified from field observations and customer feedback
  • Assisting to develop creative presentation materials
  • Participate in webinars and technical workshops
  • Pro-active update of internal CRM system and provide regular sales updates
  • Maintain an up-to-date contacts database to network with potential customers
  • Collaborate with the corporate marketing team to plan to increase leads generation
  • Provide market feedback and insights
