Description:

In the role of a Pre-Sales Consultant / Manager, you will be responsible for all technical aspects of the sales cycle, as well as for helping to ensure customer satisfaction. You will be an essential part of the sales organization in EMEA and will be a key player in the development of our focused markets. We are looking for someone with a strong ability to understand the customer requirements to propose the right solution, as well as to build, expand and maintain relationships with our implementation partners.

 

Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct solution and product demonstrations
  • Develop, maintain and prepare collaterals and presentation materials
  • Provide consultancy and technical support including proposal write-up
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend proof of concept for strategic opportunities
  • Assist with vertical market research and to nurture leads
  • Participate in sales/marketing meetings, conferences and exhibitions
  • Lead partner account planning and deliver joint webinars/workshops
  • Collaborate closely with other regional sales, business development, presales and customer success teams
  • Prepare and provide input for technical sections of Request for Information (RFIs), Request for Proposal (RFPs) and Request for Quotation (RFQs)
  • Communicate with product development team on issues identified from field observations and customer feedback
  • Establish productive and strong working relationships with SAP as well as other industry groups and implementation partners
  • Close collaboration with APJ sales team in Singapore

Skills / Requirements / Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
  • Minimum 7+ years working experience in the capacity of consultancy or delivery with enterprise software
  • SAP ERP knowledge or implementation experience is essential
  • Applicants with SAP Sales and Distribution functional expertise, SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer and SAP ERP are preferred
  • Previous exposure to customers in the manufacturing, industrial machinery and high-tech industries is highly favorable
  • Prior responsibility for all technical aspects of the sales cycle
  • Deep understanding of the Quote-to-Cash processes
  • Ability to present himself/herself in a professional manner and possess excellent presentation and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Proven track record of demonstrating software solutions and executing successful proof of concept plans to enterprise prospects
  • Working in a high energy environment, you will need to be bursting with self-confidence, enjoy networking, presenting and public speaking
  • Self-driven and self-motivated mentality and personality
  • Analytical and creative thinker
  • Some IT hardware and software skill sets in the area of Cloud Computing, CRM, ERP and CPQ is essential
  • Some traveling in EMEA / US will be required
  • Very good English skills are a must
