HR Generalist, Singapore

We are looking to employ an HR Generalist with outstanding analytical and communication skills. An HR Generalist is expected to be a conceptual thinker with fantastic organizational and conflict management skills. You will have excellent negotiation and problem solving skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

To ensure success, HR Generalists should exhibit strong decision-making skills with a deep understanding of employee relationships, staffing management and training. Top candidates will be comfortable managing grey areas, effective at scheduling and methodical in the recruitment process.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting the HR Director in the full spectrum of HR, including developing policies, directing and coordinating HR activities such as recruitment, compensation & benefits, performance review, employee engagement and relations, employee services and other HR-related matters
  • To build and enhance employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle with people initiatives, and process improvements
  • Participate in developing organizational guidelines and procedures
  • Build relationships with senior business leaders to offer thought, coordinate and execute on people-related project for business unit
  • Drive change management, process improvement and organizational effectiveness
  • Manage employee related surveys, job evaluations, data analysis and insights to identify gaps and make recommendations
  • Providing advice and guidance across a variety of HR issues, initiatives and legislation
  • Review of HR policies, processes and procedures for relevance and compliance with local statutory requirements
  • Perform orientations and update records of new staff
  • Manage the organization’s employee database and prepare reports
  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activity
  • Assist with budget monitoring and payroll
  • Monitor and keep abreast with latest HR trends and best practice

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree or above (preferably in HR Background)
  • 4+ years of People Operations/Human Resources related experience

 

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Experience developing and implementing HR initiatives and policies
  • Strong business partnering skills and HR acumen, including problem-solving skills, project management & leadership abilities
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Employee Relations/Compliance
  • HR exposure within Consulting or Tech industry will be an advantage
  • HR Generalist experience with proficiency in HRIS systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English and Mandarin
  • Proficiency in German will be a plus
  • Ability to cope well with ambiguity and change in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent record keeping skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines
  • Superb computer literacy with capability in email, MS Office and related HR software
  • Remarkable organizational and conflict management skills
  • Strong decision-making and problem solving skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
