Head of Sales (SEA), Singapore

The Sales organization in South East Asia is comprised of the sales team, business development, and demand generation function. We are currently looking for a seasoned sales leader to drive the enterprise account business segment and lead the sales organization in South East Asia.

This is a highly visible role with exposure to key leadership team members, the role will be working closely with the Head of Asia Pacific on the sales and business strategy for SEA as well as looking at building out the geographical expansion strategy beyond the primary SEA countries. This will be a highly demanding role with rewarding professional growth with an international environment, the role is a highly performance-driven role within a fast-paced environment that requires a seasoned sales professional.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieves regional sales operational objectives
  • Maintain and expands customer base and personal network within assigned sales territory and vertical market
  • Constantly check and maintain the sales strategy for your assigned vertical market
  • Contribute regional sales information and recommendation to strategic plans and reviews
  • Identify and create a strong loyal relationship with customers and partners
  • Participate or present on all industry relevant events e.g. exhibitions, conferences etc.
  • Monitor and report all competitive activities within the industry and accounts
  • Ensure that all relevant sales information’s maintained in the CRM system
  • Create sales reports and present to sales and executive management

 

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT or higher education and/or Vocational Training in Business Administration
  • 4+ years of technology sales management experience combined with a proven track record of success in a similar enterprise software
  • 7+ years of quota carrying technology sales and account management experience as an individual contributor
  • Recent experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles with manufacturing industry Customers
  • Proven success of navigating within a high matrix customer organizations
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including knowledge of key ROI and TCO principles
  • Experience managing the sales cycle from LOB champion to the C level
  • Key industry knowledge and ability to effectively articulate the value prop and methodology
  • Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of the company) in past positions
  • Ability to negotiate pricing, terms and conditions and other concessions
  • Effective written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to present to large and small audiences
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
